| OUR FAMILY HISTORY

How it started
Here, we are talking of the great (BEAR) family. You could say we were born a little over a year ago. Our family is composed of Ugandans, Nigerians and Ghananians, and Americans. Isn't that rather so amazing? It all began through the net, in a christian chat room. My mum met Ashiram first. I used to work in the cafe where he would come to chat on the computer. One day, Ashiram had to go back to work and left his IM message on and said to me, “if my american mum comes on and needs me, please come and get me”. Well, mum came on to say hi to Ashiram and I told her he was at work and I would go and get him for her. She said no, please do not disturb him. Well, we got talking and from that day on, I became her son too. For us African kids, we were all adopted by mum Nancy through internet chat.
We think it is rather a blessing. We have shared alot with each other. We share about our cultures, histories, relations etc. We even talk about foods, our natural resources, parks and cities. It so amazing and wonderful. Thanks to God. We are praying that one day, we will all meet together. What a blessed day that will be. For those who believe in the power of prayer, please pray for this to become a reality soon. Thank you!

The Fact that we are all Christians
Being all Christian people, we celebrate this togetherness in love. Our family started small then we were joined by other kids whom mum wished to adopt.
We are believing God for a break through for mum and us the kids. Mum wants to serve God in assisting the needy and poor in Nigeria. She works in a hospital right now. Ben wants to be an accountant, and Mary a Nurse. I think Marcus wants to be a computer programmer for a big company. I, Herbert of Uganda want to succeed in achieving my goal of attending to missionary stuff here in Uganda and helping my people for a better future. Ashiram wants to be a great Man of God and mum thinks he will be another BILLY GRAHAM and he also wants to be a IT professional, Matt just graduated from high school and is working in a grocery store in USA, Sister Cheryl works and is a good mum to Jonathan, her little son of nine years old. We love God and each other and we are Blessed!

Well, we seem to be far apart in distance, but we are together at heart. The Internet has done great in getting us together, We are in touch and this is very important. We will never be apart!
